JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) – The scene just outside Mingo Junction was still smoking as crews battled the blaze into the early hours of Friday morning.
An injured fire fighter that was taken to the hospital is “doing just fine” according to officials.
Officials said the original house was abandoned and it spread to a nearby home which was occupied by four people.
Mingo Junction Fire Chief Brandon Montgomery added they all made it out just fine.
The came in around 1:50 Friday morning for a house on Commercial Street.
The Ohio Fire Marshal is investigating.
