A significant heroin arrest was made on Friday by The Allegheny County District Attorney Narcotics Enforcement Team.
There was 15 pounds of marijuana, an unknown amount of money, and about 10,000 bags of heroin that was seized by the team.
According to KDKA the arrest began with a traffic stop involving Farren Mason, which led to a search warrant at his residence on North Homewood Avenue and the discovery of the drugs.
It also led to the arrest of Ernestine Mason, his wife.
Swissvale and North Versailles police departments, the DANET, and the DEA all contributed to the six-month investigation.
Ernestine Mason was charged with obstruction.
