The biggest Easter bash in Wheeling happened on Sunday.
The Wheeling Egg Hunt drew over 2,500 youngins and their parents to Wheeling park an “eggcellent” afternoon of egg hunts, carnival games, horseback riding and more.
As usual, this was a free, pre-registered event but they did not turn anyone away. In fact, they were well suited for an influx of kids with the Easter Bunny spirit. Organizers said there were more than 10,000 eggs scattered throughout the grassy hills of the park.
The Easter Bunny and his wife were available for photo-ops.
The event ran from 11a.m. to 2p.m.
