A classic car organization from Columbus was in the Ohio Valley on Saturday, speaking with officials about how they can join the fight against opiod addiction.
The GTO Chapter of Central Ohio stopped at the Farm Restaurant in Jefferson County for a lunch hosted by Belmont County Judge, Frank Fregiato.
Fregiato, who is a classic car guy himself, is spearheading a movement to place drug-free programs in Blemont County schools and he and his team are raising money by hosting classic car shows.
“We already have over 60 thousand dollars. It takes a lot of money but we are having major success and the car guys and gals are doing it,” said Fregiato.
