Busch Gardens introduces world’s steepest and fastest wooden hybrid coaster


Busch Gardens announces new coasters will be will be Florida’s tallest launch coaster and the steepest and fastest wooden hybrid coaster in the world. 

During the parks, 60th-anniversary celebration Friday organizers showed off two new rollercoasters. Tigris which will feature speeds up to 62 mph and reach a maximum height of 150 feet with a track that is more than 1,800 feet long and a tenth coaster arriving in 2020 which will feature elements of the now retired ride Gwazi. The ride which has not been named yet will become North America’s tallest hybrid and the fastest, steepest hybrid coaster in the world.

And for all the adrenaline junkies don’t worry you won’t have to wait too much longer for Tigris, as the ride is expected to open this spring.
