According to KDKA, state and local officials announced Friday that three new bills will be introduced to the city of Pittsburgh next week.
The ‘Common Sense’ bills will focus on gun safety. This comes nearly two months following the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting that killed eleven people.
Assault weapons, accessory ammunition and modifications will be banned in the city, and there will be an extreme risk protection ban to protect residents, KDKA reports.
All nine Pittsburgh City Council member intend to pass all three bills in hopes of introducing the bills Tuesday.
