Acoff pleads guilty to attempted murder charge

Crimes and Courts

After being granted a retrial last May for the murder of Lemroy Coleman, Dallas Acoff has pled guilty to a charge of attempted murder.

Acoff was granted a new trial after a new witness, Norman Banks, came forward claiming that he was not the murderer. After this plea, Acoff faces between 3 and 15 years in prison.

In addition to the plea, Acoff is serving five year for each of three counts of wanton endangerment from the original trial.
