Former Belmont County commissioner reports to jail
ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio (WTRF) - Former Belmont County Commissioner Mark Thomas has reported to jail, as per the orders of Judge John Vavra.
Thomas missed multiple court-ordered deadlines to turn in documents pertaining to a lawsuit he is facing. Since he missed the deadlines, Judge Vavra mandated that Thomas was to report to the Belmont County Jail at 9 a.m. on Friday.
Thomas will serve 30 days in jail.
