Man involved in pursuit with police turns himself in

MOUNDSVILLE, W. Va. (WTRF) - A man involved in a pursuit over the weekend in Marshall County has turned himself in to authorities, according to Moundsville police.

Nathan Anderson, 21 of Cameron, turned himself in to Moundsville Police and is now in custody, Police Chief Tom Mitchell says.

The chase reportedly started as a traffic stop but the vehicle took off and started swerving in and out of traffic. 

The driver eventually wrecked on Irish Ridge and Anderson reportedly escaped on foot.

There were three people in the car, according to police. Skylar Stanley, 21 of Cameron, was arrested on possession of crystal meth.
