A Belmont County man learned his fate Tuesday for the rape of a young girl.
Judge Frank Fregiato sentenced Christianson Hill to life in prison, with parole eligibility after ten years.
Hill was sentenced for the rape of a pre-teen girl, that took place over the course of two years.
The incident was brought to the attention of school officials by the victim. She said she had been raped that day.
Within days, through DNA evidence, police arrested Hill on one count of rape of a child by force.
If Hill is ever released on parole, he will have to register as a Tier 3 sex offender for life.
Previously, Hill entered an Alford Plea in the case to the charge of rape, which is a first degree felony.
