Murder suspect Brian Calabrese was found dead hours after deputies reported he killed a man.
Ohio County Sheriff Tom Howard said Calabrese was found by Pennsylvania State Police on Weaver Run Road in Washington County.
Police found Calabrese in his vehicle with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Those who live near the area said they are shocked.
Many of them confirm they weren’t home last night, but returned this morning to see police cars across the street.
They were concerned, but said it’s not unusual for people to pull into the parking lot across from their home.
But when they found out what happened, they couldn’t believe it.
“It’s scary it’s so close to home. You just never know nowadays and that’s scary with little ones. I hope nothing like this happens again out this way. Way too close to home. It makes me nervous. I’m just thankful we weren’t here,” said Megan Leech.
Sheriff Howard believes Calabrese killed another man in Ohio County late last night.
Deputies said they received two different calls about the incident, and when they arrived they found a man dead.
The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
