Owner of McGovern's Smokehouse turns himself in

(WTRF) - UPDATE 3/29:

According to officials, McGovern's Smokehouse owner, Michael McGovern, has turned himself in to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

An arrest warrant was issued for McGovern at the beginning of March.

McGovern is wanted in connection an arson/break-in at the bar in February.

According to Chief Deputy Bill Helms, there is a warrant out for the arrest of McGovern's Smokehouse owner, Michael McGovern.

McGovern's attorney is aware of the arrest warrant, and he has been entered into NCIC.

Marshall County Sheriffs confirm that Kayla McCloud, 21, was arrested Monday evening at about 9:30 after being connected to the break-in at McGovern's Smokehouse several weeks ago.



New details have been released on an incident that occurred at McGovern's Pub in mid-February. 

According to Marshall County officials, Codi Daugherty, 26, has been arrested on multiple felony charges, including 2nd  and 3rd Degree arson.

There is also a warrant out for the arrest of Kayla McCloud, 21, of the Powhatan area.

On February 13, first responders were called to the bar after an early morning report of a fire.

When they arrived at the scene, they found the place ransacked.

Officials say more arrests are likely to come in the near future.
