A murder did not happen in Bellaire according to police chief Dick Flanagan.
Chief Flanagan said his department was notified of a murder that happened in West Virginia and the suspect, in that case, was in Bellaire.
His department took this man, Gerold Wayne Jako, 33, into custody. Chief Flanagan said, “People can’t believe everything they see on Facebook.”
