Three men have been charged in the death of a Kansas man in Guernsey County.
Rot Tran, 42, of California; Bi Tran, 42, of Canal Fulton; and Thomas Raybould, 54, of North Canton were charged with first-degree felony involuntary manslaughter, and third-degree felony abduction.
All three men were arraigned on Wednesday in Cambridge Municipal Court.
On Monday, the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a man who said his brother was unresponsive, but breathing.
The caller said he was traveling near the Seneca Lake Marina. Dispatchers told the man to pull into the Marina so medics could be dispatched to provide help.
When deputies and first responders got to the scene, they found Dao Tran, 55, of Kansas, dead.
Dao Tran’s body was transported to the Licking County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Detectives had two crime scenes to process, and agents from BCI were requested to help aid in the investigation as well.
There are no details surrounding the death of Dao Tran as detectives continue to investigate.
Bond was set at $500 thousand for Rot Tran, and $250 thousand for Bi Tran and Thomas Raybould.
A fourth man was detained but not charged.
