Two arrested, one cited after altercation with Wheeling police

WHEELING, W. Va. (WTRF) - Two people are behind bars after an alleged altercation at Heritage Port with Wheeling Police.

Officers were dispatched on Thursday to Heritage Port to investigate a call that two individuals were drinking, possibly doing drugs and disturbing others.

When the officers arrived, they reportedly discovered drugs, including marijuana, LSD, and other drug paraphernalia. Ryan Patrick Fadul, 31 of Wheeling, allegedly began fighting with police and resisting arrest, which prompted the officers to call for backup.

Fadul was arrested and charged with charged with possession with intent to deliver LSD and battery on an officer. Samantha Jean Thompson, 29 of Moundsville, was also arrested, and is facing a charge of simple possession of marijuana and having an open container.

A third individual, Donald Woods Adams, 55 of Rayland, was issued a citation on simple possession of marijuana.
