Two Bellaire men are in custody after police made what they describe as a “majore seizure of drugs.”

Early on Friday morning, the Belmont County Major Crimes Unit executed a drug search warrant in Bellaire. During the search, police say they discovered heroin, crack cocaine, methamphetamines, and other drugs, as well as cash, a stolen Colt rifle, and a .357 pistol.

Arrested were Michael Scott, 29, and David Rector, 31. The two were taken to the Belmont County Jail, and face charges of drug trafficking, receiving stolen property and weapons under disability.

The investigation into this matter continues and police say charges are going to be filed on other individuals.

Bellaire police also assisted in the execution of the warrant.
