Wheeling man admits to distributing cocaine

United States Attorney Bill Powell announced that Deandre L. Davis, 27, of Wheeling has admitted to cocaine distribution. 

He pled guilty to one count of “Distribution of Cocaine Base within 1,000 Feet of a Protected Location.” 

Davis also admitted to selling cocaine near Riverview Towers in Wheeling in July 2017.

He faces a fine up to $2 million dollars and to 40 years incarceration.

The prosecutor on the case is Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen L. Vogrin, and Senior U.S. District Judge Frederick P. Stamp, Jr. presided. 

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Explosives, and Firearms and the Ohio Valley Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, a HITDA-funding initiative, are investigating.
