The school district is giving a peek inside its new middle school building.
On Monday, the administration held an open house for incoming 5th graders and 6th graders to check out the $30 million building.
The new school features high-tech science labs, a media center, increased security measures, and much more.
Superintendent Toni Paesano Shute told 7News she can’t thank the Brooke County Board of Education enough.
She believes their vision has lead to an amazing school for students.
“It’s on time, it’s on budget. We’re very excited because it’s absolutely state of the art. It’s a great time to be a Bruin,” Paesano Shute said.
Tours for incoming 7th and 8th graders will be held on Wednesday.
Then, starting next week, community members can also tour the new school.
