Crews are on the scene of Wanda’s Bargain Barn after a car drove into the front of the building.

According to Sheriff Tom Howard, an elderly woman was leaving a parking lot across the street from the Triadelphia store when the accelerator in her Honda Accord reportedly got stuck while she was braking, and she was unable to stop.

The woman’s car traveled across Route 40, while her brakes were on, and drove into the front of Wanda’s Bargain Barn.

Sheriff Howard said that no one was inside of the store at the time, and no one was injured.

The woman was transported to the hospital to be checked, but only has a scratch on her arm.

Crews from Valley Grove and Bethlehem responded.
