An Ohio auto dealership is taking strides to make the holidays a little better for veterans and their families.

Thomas Auto Centers in St. Clairsville, just across the street from the Ohio Valley Mall is doing this through their “Freedom Tree.”

Decked out in hand crafted patriotic ornaments, the tree sits right in the middle of their showroom.
Underneath, sits dozens of presents that will be dispersed to military families across the Ohio Valley.

“This is just a small thing of what we have here: This is for display purposes. Once we get together and get our cash together, and stuff people have been bringing in, it will get a lot larger,” said Robert Thomas, VP, Thomas Auto Center.

If you want to donate to the Freedom Tree, they’re serving all age groups. If you wish to register somebody to receive a present, give Robin Thomas a call at 740 695 1678.

All recipients will remain anonymous.
