Many states looking to pass controversial ‘heartbeat’ bill

The controversial ‘heartbeat’ bill is making its way through many state legislatures and Mountain State residents do not have to look far.

There are currently four states who have signed the bill into law, including Ohio, and there are several others working on passing the bill.

Alabama signed their bill into law Wednesday and Missouri is waiting on their Governor’s signature.

The bill makes abortion illegal once a heartbeat is detected.

These bills are expected to face legal battles.
