A survey by the National Retail Federation shows 164 million people will shop from Thanksgiving Thursday through Cyber Monday.
46 percent are shopping Monday, with an estimated 75 million people loading up their online shopping carts.
Joe Bernardo, Yorkville, Ohio, is one of these online shoppers.
“Most of mine will be done tomorrow. It’s just a lot simpler,” said Bernardo.
No lines and no hassle.
With the click of a mouse or a tap on the screen some of the seasons best deals could be yours… and it’s all about the deals.
The NRF survey shows 65 percent of online shoppers are all in it for special savings.
Gwen Stewart doesn’t shop online but her family does and they score big.
“They live to shop online and every time they’re like ‘Oh I found a sweeper, I found this,’ and I’m like oh that’s real cool but I don’t understand how to do it,” said Stewart.
Some retailers are already advertising their cyber sales.
Target is offering buy one get one 60 percent off clothing, shoes and accessories.Amazon is coming through with STEAL prices on popular electronics like fire stick and echo dot.
Other retailers like Macys, Best Buy and Walmart are stretching their sales. They’re advertising “Cyber Week.”
There are levels to this though. I spoke with shoppers who say they’re up at 4a.m. to grab their bargains.
“I’ve gotten TVs, 40 inch TVs for around 140 bucks. It just depends on… You just got to know where to look,” said Bernardo.
