Ohio Governor issues several changes to state’s tattoo industry


New requirements in the tattoo industry are being set by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine in his new budget proposal. 

Tattoo artists and body piercers will be obligated to register for the state and pay a $250 fee.

There will also be other changes that will affect the public. 

Once registered through the state, an online database will be created for the public’s dscretion.

Licensing violations can also be accessed by the public online.
