A college graduate’s photo of her carrying a rifle has gone viral.

The Twitter universe was divided over the tweets from Kaitlin Marie where she is shown snapping graduate photos over the campus of Kent State University.

One tweet reads:

Now that I graduated from @KentState, I can finally arm myself on campus. I should have been able to do so as a student- especially since 4 unarmed students were shot and killed by the government on this campus. #CampusCarryNow

Some Twitter users were upset that Kaitlin chose to take the images with the AR-10, while others supported her decision.

Kaitlin later tweeted, “As a woman, I refuse to be a victim & the second amendment ensures that I don’t have to be.”
