Power restored to Marshall County residents

Power has been restored in the McMechen and Glen Dale Heights area after more than 1,300 residents were left without power Sunday night at around 8 o’clock.

The cause of the outage remains unknown at this time.

According to AEP officials over 1,300 residents in the Glen Dale Heights and McMechen area are currently without power.

The cause of the outage is undetermined. However, a servicer is on their way to assess the situation.

The AEP website states that a estimated restore time is around 3:30AM.
