Police have released footage of what they said was the theft of a gorilla statue from outside a store in Kensington, Maryland.

The Montgomery County Department of Police said the statue was taken early on January 4 from outside Design Emporium and Antiques in Kensington.

A reward of up to $10,000 was being offered for information leading to an arrest.
