Saturday marks one year since President Donald Trump was inaugurated, and it is safe to say his work as President of the United States has received some mixed reviews.
West Virginia’s Republican Congressman David McKinley says he would give him different evaluations based on different subjects.
For example, McKinley says if talking about the use of Twitter, he would rate the President a three, but he would give his ability to get things done an eight or nine.
He says there are parts of this administration that require some adjustment.
“We elected a non-political person, and now we have to deal with it. I’ve had a number of conversations with Trump. He’s a strong-minded businessman, and I’ve been very pleased. Look at what he’s accomplished. He said, ‘I’m going to accomplish these things,’ and looking back on it, he’s done it,” sid McKinley.
McKinley says President Trump’s rolling back of regulations on the coal industry is an example of his keeping his promises.
