U.S. Representative Bill Johnson has filed for re-election to the 6th District Ohio seat.
Johnson was first elected in 2010 but says he still has things he wants to accomplish. Currently, Ohioans are seeing benefits in bonuses, investment in new jobs and bigger paychecks.
Johnson wants to address people’s frustration with the speed at which things move in Washington. In a statement he says, “As I travel the district, I’ve noticed a change in tone. People are still frustrated by the speed at which things move in Washington and I am too. It’s something I continue to be committed to changing.”
So far, no other Republicans have filed and the deadline for a candidate to file is Feb. 7th.
