Senator Joe Manchin says President Trump has pushed him repeatedly to switch from a Democrat to a Republican.
The Senator revealed this in an interview with Politico’s Off Message Podcast.
Manchin says the President has tried to make him switch several times since the transition.
The Democrat has not supported the Republican tax bill or repealing Obamacare.
Manchin says he told the President he didn’t need more Republicans, he needs more Democrats like him.
