Hundreds of demonstrators from across the U.S. flocked to Greenbrier county to protest against President Trump’s political agenda.
They chanted, sang songs, and also marched throughout the town to the front gates of the Greenbrier Resort. Organizers say their march was not intended to bash President Trump or his administration but rather call attention to issues like healthcare, immigration, and minimum wages, “Not the man but many not the administration but the agenda you cannot perpetuate regressive legislation,” said rally organizer, Sammie Brown.
“You cannot perpetuate oppressive nature or decisiveness. We’re here and we are here to show you what it looks like when people work. We are pushing for living wages better work better job conditions so we are pushing for improvement,” said protestor, Jay Harris.
Many of those protestors came from states such as Arkansas, Philadelphia, New York and the Carolinas.
