The remaining three people in the Raleigh County Mine rescue were released from the hospital Thursday morning. However, the trio could soon face criminal charges.
Law officials believe the group’s motive was to steal copper wiring from the mine.
Search and rescue crews spent four days working to reach Kayla Williams, Erica Treadway and Cody Beverly.
Officials say the cost of the rescue mission could be as much as a million dollars.
