Teachers flood Los Angeles streets to strike for second consecutive day

News

For the second consecutive day, teachers in Los Angeles continued their strike.

Teachers are demanding smaller class sizes, fewer standardized tests, and higher pay.

Among those issues, teachers are also protesting the increasing allocation of state funds to charter schools, which they say leaves many vulnerable students and communities under served.

This strike comes almost a year after West Virginia Teachers went on strike over pay and benefits.
