The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a three day “Lone Officer First Responder” class.

The event is being held for PROs assigned to every school in Hancock County.

Mr. Hanan Yadin, President and CEO of Instinctive Shooting Int’l, LLC out of Houston, Texas is facilitating the training.

On Tuesday, they will be training at New Manchester Elementary School in New Manchester.

Officers will continue their training with live fire at the Hancock County Sheriff’s shooting range on Wednesday.

“With the ‘Lone Officer First Responder’ training delivered this week, we are providing the school resource officers with the tools, tactics, and confidence to perform their duties in protecting our most valuable asset; our children and the faculty of our schools,” said Sheriff Fletcher.
