MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. (WTRF) - Great news for you barbeque lovers out there!
After a much anticipated wait, the Mason Dixon Barbecue Company has finally moved into their own space in Moundsville!
They held a special ribbon cutting on Friday, celebrating their grand opening.
7News spoke with Owner Patrick Fisher about what makes their menu so special and the unique meaning behind the Mason Dixon name.
"When you come in our ribs are very popular. We have sliced brisket. We just smoked 2,700 pounds of meat, close to a ton of meat," Fisher said. "We're able to do that and keep up the quality. All my Army buddies didn't know where in West Virginia. I said, well if you run the Mason Dixon line, that runs right into our county, Marshall County."
Mason Dixon is open seven days a week. Their doors open at 11a.m. just in time for lunch!
They're located at 115 Lafayette Avenue in Moundsville if you wanna stop in.
