WELLSBURG, W. Va - In Brooke county, there will be a new health clinic opening up at Brooke High school just in time for the new school year.
They were already set-up at the nurse's office, but with this new clinic, they will be able to offer more services. There will be a doctor, dentist, and two mental health specialists on site. Plus this will be offered to not only students and faculty, but to parents as well.
Toni Paesano Shute, the Brooke County Schools Superintendent, says, "so when you have a child that has two parents working and they don't feel well and you don't want to send them home but you want to give them the care they need, that health facility is really going to come in handy."
The clinic is currently under construction but should be open by the time school starts next semester.
