One person is dead and two others injured after a fatal accident Saturday night in Marshall County.  According to Marshall County Sheriff Kevin Cecil, the accident happened on Roberts Ridge Road.

Cecil says their investigation in complete but a final report has not been issued. Preliminary reports indicate the UTV passed another car then hit a truck head on, killing the 17-year-old male driver, and injuring his male and female passengers, both juveniles.

The female injured in the crash is reportedly in good condition and expected to be OK. While the other male passenger is still in the hospital locally, expected to get surgery Monday for several bone fractures, but is also expected to survive.

All of the juveniles were reportedly John Marshall High School students.

No names are being released by officials at this time because all the victims are juveniles.

The accident closed a portion of Robert’s Ridge Saturday evening for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
