A trio of people protesting the Mountain Valley Pipeline were arrested in Monroe County on Monday, June 4, 2018.   The three people were all from Massachusetts.

According to State Troopers, at around 8 a.m on Monday the suspects attached themselves to a piece of equipment using a handmade device that made it difficult for law enforcement officers to remove them.

They were at a location along Route 219 in the Lindside area.

Sydney White, 18, Evin Unger, 21, and Maxwell Shaw, 24, were all charged with trespassing, obstruction and resisting arrest.  They were arraigned and released on $1,500 bond.
