The West Virginia Route 2/I-68 Authority now has a new Executive Director.
Former Marshall County Commissioner Bob Millwer will take over the role. He takes over for Charles Clements, who has served in the positition since 2007.
“I am honored by this opportunity to continue to serve our state and region in advancing these critical regional infrastructure projects,” Miller said in a press release. “The time is now to make the I-68 Energy Corridor extension happen, and to make additional improvements to Route 2. I am ready to keep working with the Trump Administration, Governor Justice, the West Virginia Legislature, our counties, Authority members, and the entire region at-large to make this vision of prosperity a reality.”
Miller also thanked Clements, Authority President Fred Brunner and the Authoirty members.
The West Virginia Route 2/I-68 authority was created in 1997 to advance improvements and construction for Route 2 and an extension of I-68 from Morgantown.
