CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WTRF) — Incumbent Patrick Morrisey has won the West Virginia attorney general race.

His opponent was Democrat Sam Petsonk.

Patrick Morrisey is West Virginia’s first Republican Attorney General since 1933. He was elected in 2012 and was re-elected in 2016.
