CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WTRF) — All eyes were on Charleston Tuesday night for the announcement of teacher and school service personnel of the year.
Woodsdale Elementary School’s Jamie Young was a finalist for Teacher of the Year, but sadly was not chosen.
The West Virginia Department of Education hosted educators, school staff members and their guests from across the state.
The event was the Celebration of Excellence in Education and was held at the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences.
