Antonio Brown is usually pretty fast on the field. Off the field, police had to tell him to slow down.
CBS Pittsburgh is reporting that Steelers wideout Brown was cited for driving in excess of 100 mph on McKnight Road near Pittsburgh. That area is a 45 mph zone.
Officers with the Ross Township Police Department were responding to a bank robbery when noticed a Porsche going over the speed limit, according to CBS Pittsburgh.
Brown was cited for reckless driving in excess of 100 mph, and was not a suspect in the bank robbery.
If convicted, Brown could lose his license for up to six months, as well as the possibility of a $200 fine.
He is expected to play tonight in the Steelers’ matchup against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football.
