It’s going to be a barking ball when the 2019 Puppy Bowl returns with our favorite 4-legged football players.
The 2019 Puppy Bowl has some feisty rascals in their starting lineup ready to rumble.
You can look out for Harper from Suncoast Animal League in Tampa and Emmitt from Planned Pethood Pasco in Zephyrhills.
Harper was only 3-weeks-old when he and his two littermates were brought to Suncoast Animal League after being found abandoned in a field by Hernando County Animal Services. The organization said a nursing dog in one of our foster homes became their surrogate mother for the next several weeks as she also raised her own four puppies of similar age.
When he was 9-weeks-old, Harper was adopted by a very loving family who you can meet on WFLA News Channel 8 Tuesday morning.
Emmitt was brought to Planned Pethood along with his six brothers from a hoarding case in the next county. From the beginning, Emmitt was super feisty, the organization said. He was the smallest in size, just a whopping three pounds, but the largest in attitude.
“We knew right away that he would make a wonderful contender in the Puppy Bowl,” Planned Pethood said.
Now, Emmitt lives with his fur brother, Max and their wonderful parents and is becoming a special dog.
Animal Planet told WFLA News Channel 8’s Lila Gross Emmitt will also be seen in tons of action on the field during the big game.
As you can see, even the little dogs playing backup are expected to howl their way to victory come Sunday.
This will be the 15th Puppy Bowl featuring returning groups Team Ruff and Team Fluff.
Last year, the Puppy Bowl was the second-most trending topic on social media on the big game day, behind the real Super Bowl of course.
Enjoy all the adorable furry faces below and tune into the 2019 Puppy Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 3, on Animal Planet.
