PASADENA (WCMH) — The Ohio State Buckeyes have a big day ahead for Thursday in California as they prepare to take on the no. 9 Washington Huskies in the Rose Bowl on Tuesday, Jan. 1.

Thursday morning around 11 ET, the Buckeyes’ defensive coordinator Greg Schiano and several players spoke to the media.

Thursday at 3 p.m. ET, the Buckeyes will have an open practice, which you can watch live right here on NBC4i.com.

After practice, the Buckeyes will feast at the Lawry’s Beef Bowl on prime rib–the annual pre-Rose Bowl dinner. We’ll let them eat in peace and won’t stream it live, but do check back this evening for NBC4i.com and NBC4 News app exclusive video and photos from the red-carpet event.

Be sure to watch NBC4 at 5 p.m. ET for an exclusive interview with OSU fan and actor J.K. Simmons, and at 5, 6, and 7 for Jerod Smalley’s live report  on day 2 of Rose Bowl week from California.
