WHEELING, W. Va. (WTRF) - Would you want to get your foot in the door at a pro football team, while staying local? The West Virginia Roughriders are making hires for both off the field -- and on.
On the team’s website, the Roughriders announced that they will be holding open tryouts to fill the team’s roster on October 27th. Everyone is welcome -- the only requirement is to pay the $55 registration fee. Beware, if you wait until the day of tryouts to register, an extra $10 gets tacked on to the fee. They will be held at West Liberty University, and metal spikes are not allowed. If you’re interested, head to the team’s site at WestVirginiaRoughRiders Dot Com.
If your playing days are over, there are still a variety of ways you can get involved. Whether you dream of being the next Al Michaels or simply want some experience in sales, they will very likely have a job waiting for you. For more information, again head to the team’s site at WestVirginiaRoughRiders.com.
