State health officials report decease in Hepatitis A cases

Currently, the West Virginia DHHR says that the state has only 2,500 active cases of Hepatitis A.

State health officials have recently seen about two dozen cases in the past two months.

However, this is a sharp drop from the peak of the outbreak last year that saw more than one hundred cases being reported a week.
