WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — Tropical Storm Barry continues to weaken after making landfall Saturday afternoon.
The Ohio Valley is miles away from the Gulf Coast of Mexico but the aftermath of Tropical Storm Barry may be felt across the country.
In recent weeks, the national average price of gas has increased due to rising oil prices.
This may cause major U.S. gasoline refineries to shut down, which will drive up gas prices even higher.
Supply and overwhelming rain could also be problematic.
