Winter weather advisory until 9 am Friday for Belmont, Monroe, Noble, Morgan and Washington counties in Ohio. Also for Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel, Tyler and Pleasants counties in West Virginia.

Snow has been accumulating at about half inch an hour in central and southern Ohio. Thermometers are generally in the upper twenties to low thirties.  Winds have been blowing from the north and northeast at 4 to 8 mph, gusts to 15 mph. Cloudy with one to two inches of snow Overnight. Patchy light freezing drizzle possible.

Be careful while you cross bridges and overpasses. Secondary roads should be snow-covered from Midnight to about 4 AM. The snow should end before sunrise.
