Watch for snow-covered roads and very slick spots on your morning commute. Snow showers will continue to fall for the first half of the day before tapering off this evening. Snow will not be measurable today, but quick coatings are likely. Several schools are on a 2-hour delay.
Now a Wind Advisory is in effect for our whole area until 4 PM. Winds have already exceeded 40 mph overnight and will continue between 35 and 40 mph through today. Secure any loose items outside before you leave home.
A Flood Warning is still in effect for some of our far western counties and they will expire at various times over the next couple of days. Creek and stream levels will slowly fall today and the Ohio River is still expected to crest around 33 feet in Wheeling later this evening.
