Heavy rains are continuing to force officials to close area roads.
The Moundsville Police Department announced on Facebook that all roads past Lockwood Avenue will be closed. They advise that everyone should stay away from river access points.
Route 250 south of Moundsville will also be reduced to one lane until further notice. This is occurring near the intersection with County Roads 250/90 and Rocksy Road (Grandview Heights), according to the West Virginia Division of Highways.
In Brooke County, SR-67 (Bethany Pike) is now open.
