TONIGHT: Grey and dreary day for the Ohio Valley as rain activity swooped into the area. High temperatures today struggled out of the upper 40s, but we will see a warming trend past midnight and into the morning of Saturday. Skies will stay overcast with spotty showers into the morning as well. Winds will be breezy and blow around 10-15 mph.
SATURDAY: Overcast skies will be the trend for now with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. A few spotty showers are possible during the early morning hours, with a stray pocket developing into the afternoon. Another wave of precip will overspread the Ohio Valley come Sunday due to an active air pattern aloft. Winds will not be a factor for our weekend.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with a return of rain showers due to an upper-level wave of energy passing through our region. The best timeframe for precip will come during the late morning and early afternoon hours. High temperatures will sit in the mid to low 50s. Cooler weather will start to settle into the region as we approach mid-week next week. Winds will trend a but breezy for the day, blowing sustained around 10-15 mph with gusts of 30 mph possible.
MONDAY: Cloud cover remains overhead with a chance for scattered showers. High temperatures will hover in the middle 40s.
TUESDAY: Overcast skies with a downward trend in temperatures. Highs will max out in the mid to low 40s with a chance for light rain mixing into the area.
WEDNESDAY: Mainly cloudy skies return to the Ohio Valley with a chance for some snow flurries and a few scattered showers into the mix. High temperatures will sit around 40 degrees.
THURSDAY: Cloud cover will stay overhead as we near the end of the first full week of December. High temperatures will hover around the mid to low 40s.
FRIDAY: Mainly cloudy skies once again with temperatures around the 50 degree mark.
